The Elizabeth Furnace Recreation Area is located between Front Royal and Strasburg in the George Washington National Forest - Lee Ranger District. The Elizabeth Furnace trails feature rocky, technical features appropriate for advanced mountain bikers.
In addition to biking, there are hiking trails and campsites available.
