Bacon Ridge is the first legal natural surface singletrack trail in Anne Arundel County.
It consists of approximately 18 miles of narrow, fun, beginner-friendly/expert-approved twisty dirt trails. Designed and built by a long-time MORE trail liaison and bike shop owner, Bacon Ridge is fun for the whole family with many fun natural features and scenic vistas nestled in the heart of the county.
From beginners to experts, new riders to old, kids and adults ALL love Bacon Ridge! There's way more trails coming to the county but this is the beginning and the focal point! Come check it out!

Connecting Waterworks & Bacon Ridge

I have ridden this ride twice now in the last 2 weeks, once staying right and once staying left. I like riding distance XC and connecting both Waterworks and Bacon Ridge is a excellent ride, with approx 3,600+ elevation gain and 34 miles roundtrip. Both times I parked at Trader Joe's and worked my way from Waterworks to the far north end of Bacon Ridge and back. Both trail system and smooth, fast single track with plenty of steep punch climbs. Awesome Trail System

Found this trail system a month ago. Well built and maintained, fast and flowy.. Every thing you would want and more for an awesome MTB experience. Met Mike while riding there. His passion and love for his creation was infectious.. Bacon Ridge Immediately became one of my favorite trails in Maryland. Get out and ride!
