Infiniti HR 10 Miler- NEW for 2022 - Aid Station on thie 10 Miler! Are you chill or just beginning? Step into the MoCo Epic . Finish up at South Germantown Bike Park for the post ride party. Click here for a course map.
15 REI Miler- The 15 miler will start with about [4] miles of fun trails in Schaeffer Farm. After a rest stop at Black Rock Mill riders will ride the entire 6 mile Seneca Ridge Trail to A second aid station at Riffleford Road, then return to the Soccerplex on the Seneca Greenway and Powerline trails. Erik Scudder, CFP® 30 Miler- Your Epic adventure begins as you head north through Hoyles Mill and on to the flowtrack of Ten Mile Creek and Black Hills. You will loop back to the Diabase trail that flows into Schaeffer Farms leading you to the Aid Station at Black Rock Mill for a quick fuel up before hitting the home stretch to South Germantown Rec Park where the post ride party is beckoning! Fine Earth Landscape 40 Miler- This southern loop offers the most singletrack percentage wise of all the Epic courses. Starting off with the Diabase trail, you’ll twist through a quick tour of Schaeffer and continue straight to the fast flow of Seneca Ridge Trail to the Greenway and quick twist through the Kentlands. From there you will head out for a tour of Muddy Branch that ends as you drop down into the historic beauty of the C&O Canal. This is the final stretch as you'll climb up Seneca Bluffs toward Seneca Ridge Trail and pop out at Black Rock Mill, then into Schaeffer Farms and onto the post ride festivities! Cognative MTB®55 Miler- Here’s the route of choice for the brave at heart! This year you’ll be heading heading north through Hoyles Mill and on to the flowtrack of Ten Mile Creek and Black Hills. You will then begin some long climbing through Little Bennett and Damacus Regional Parks. From there you will swing south on the Greenway Trail toward Seneca Creek State Park for a loop around the scenic Clopper Lake south and connect with the Seneca Ridge Trail for the long, fun run to Black Rock Mill. One last Aid Station and then it is off through Schaeffer Farm and back to South Germantown’s post ride party for refueling! Overall this route is about 85% singletrack with occasional paved country roads between parks. Click here for course map.
First Citizens Bank 70 Miler- Are you ready to tackle this granddaddy of Epic Rides? This course is no joke with over 4,000 ft in elevation. This year you’ll start your Epic adventure by heading north through Hoyles Mill and on to the flowtrack of Ten Mile Creek and Black Hills. You will then begin some long climbing through Little Bennett and Damacus Regional Parks. From there you will swing south on the Greenway Trail toward Seneca Creek State Park for a loop around the scenic Clopper Lake after which you'll roll through the Kentlands and head out for a tour of Muddy Branch that ends as you drop down into the historic beauty of the C&O Canal. Mini Epic Kid's Ride (Oct 8)- Bring the kids out to enjoy a special ride geared just for them! MORE volunteers will lead a well organized kids ride option that will run approximately 5.6 miles and swing by a MoCo Epic aid station. Parents are not required to participate but are welcome to join at no charge if desired. Click here for a course map.
Advanced Kid's Ride (Oct 8)- Is your youth looking for a little more challenge than the Mini Epic Kid's Ride? For the more advanced child riders, we'll also have a longer course option that will tour 11 miles and even hit an aid station for a full Epic experience!
