The MoCo Epic is a festival celebrating mountain biking, trails, and the community that makes this region a great place to ride!
In 2009, a group of dedicated MORE members had the idea of linking natural surface trail systems together, creating a supported, "epic" off-road bike ride. Each year, proceeds generated from this event are invested back into local trails to expand and improve places to ride and recreate in the region.
What's new in 2025?
This year, we're celebrating the 15th edition of the MoCo Epic. Here are just a few of the exciting things we have in store for you.
Saturday, October 11
- Family rides: 6 and 10-mile routes, plus a self-guided option
- Skills clinics: MTB Foundations for kids and adults, Jumping 101
- Gravity Soul Jump Jam
Sunday, October 12
- Epic rides: 10, 20, 30, 40, 55, and 70-mile routes, plus a self-guided 100-mile option
- Aid stations, a.k.a. trailside parties
- Adaptive course and a fleet of adaptive mountain bikes available for participants.
- Post-ride festival with food trucks, local beer, games, and a DJ
We're also working on providing rider resources and support leading up to the event to help riders make the most of their epic adventure!
