SENECA RIDGE TRAIL (SRT)

The Seneca Ridge Trail (SRT) is one of the region's most popular additions to the vast catalog of off-road riding destinations.

This trail is pretty special and has become a showpiece for the Maryland Department of Natural Resources.

The 7-mile ribbon of single track connects Schaeffer’s white loop with the Seneca Creek Park System, giving you the chance to ride nearly 20 miles of just single track. Add the loops at Schaeffer Farm and you could spin nearly 40 miles in classic east coast trails.

The trail can be ridden as an out and back starting from Black Rock Mill or from its eastern terminus at Riffle Ford Road. The trail crosses Germantown Rd (Route 118). Please use extreme caution at this intersection.
