SENECA GREENWAY TRAIL

Germantown, MD

SENECA GREENWAY TRAIL

The Seneca Greenway Trail runs 11 miles from Rt 355 to the south end of Damascus, MD, following Seneca Creek most of the way. The final two miles are named the Magruder Branch trail.

This trail has great stream valley views and lots of flowy singletrack. Much of it has been machined recently to move it out of the floodplain. Be ready for some hill climbs.

The trail ends at a paved bike trail you can take into Damascus for lunch, or ride 3 miles west to Little Bennett.
