ROCKBURN BRANCH PARK

Rockburn Branch Skills Park (RBSP) is nestled on approximately three acres in the center of Rockburn Branch Park (RBP), Howard County, Maryland.

This is a fun place to ride a bike for any skill level. Not only are there over five miles of natural surface trails in RBP, the RBSP features a 5,000 square foot pump track, three flow driven lines for beginner, intermediate and advanced riders plus a wood wall ride and a 40 foot wooden roller coaster feature.

Parking is ample, lots of shade and picnic tables are there to enjoy a snack, lunch or even host a party in the woods.

Patapsco Valley State Park is adjacent to RBP. Two great parks to ride bikes! Make sure to call the main park line, 410-313-4455, for closure reports due to muddy conditions.

Skills park is Fun but needs work
Written by Scott on 10/13/2019

Decent lines but seriously in need of maintenance since the July 2019 rebuild. The largest of the 3 lines is nearly unrideable due to a collapsing berm. I have attempted to fix many of the jumps to make them acceptable, but needs a full revamp imho. The smaller novice section should also be reworked, most agree that riders carry too much speed for such small jumps and rollers.
