HOYLES MILL/DIABASE TRAILS
Located in northwestern Montgomery County, the Hoyles Mill Trail travels south from Black Hill Regional Park through Boyds Local Park and Hoyles Mill Conservation Park to the South Germantown Recreation Park and then Seneca Creek State Park where it terminates at Schaeffer Farms.
The Hoyles Mill Connector (HMC) and Diabase Trails are other regional trails crafted in Germantown by a coalition of various users groups and led in effort by the Mid Atlantic Off-Road Enthusiasts (MORE) to extend riding opportunities in the region. The Hoyles Mill Connector trail can be ridden as an out and back, or combined with loops in Black Hill Regional Park and Schaffer Farms (via the Diabase Trail).
The HMC and Diabase trails have become integral parts of the MoCo Epic series of rides.
