JAMES LONG PARK
JAMES LONG PARK
This trail system consists of about 5.5 miles of single and double track trail tucked into the woods behind the sport fields at James Long Park.
There are 2 converging large creeks that go through the park, which are crossed at various points on some trails. Many trails include several short and steep climbs and downhills between the ridges and the creekbeds, giving it a unique feel for the area.
This trail system also connects to Silver Lake Park via an equestrian path, as well as paved trails around the Dominion Valley community.
Future plans include several more trails which will take advantage of the rocky and undulating terrain. Future plans also include a creekside trail connection to Conway Robinson State Park. Once this is complete, riders will be able to ride over 25 miles of connected trails.
