Board of Directors Elections for 2025-2027*
MORE is looking for volunteers to serve as the next Activities Director, Membership Director, Ride Program Director, Secretary and Treasurer on the Board of Directors.

Activities Director
The Activities Director is a two-year MORE Board of Directors volunteer position. The Activities Director is responsible for planning and executing various events throughout the year to support MORE’s strategic vision.
Duties include:
- Planning the Winter Membership Meeting in the first quarter of the year and organizing annual volunteer awards.
- Planning and supporting various events throughout the year, including the Spring Fling, Summer Picnic, Fall Camping Trip, and the MoCo Epic.
- Planning and supporting smaller events throughout the year including movie nights, fundraisers, and local pop-up events.
- Providing input to MORE’s annual budget for events.
- Engaging volunteers to support MORE’s events.
- Attending and participating in monthly MORE Board of Directors meetings.
Membership Director
The Membership Director is a two-year MORE Board of Directors volunteer position. The Membership Director is responsible for growing and managing membership of the organization and managing all aspects of membership-related communications.
Duties include:
- Communicating with members through welcome emails for joins and renewals, and notification emails to people whose memberships have lapsed or expired.
- Communicating with IMBA on membership drives, renewals, joins, and resolving any issues which may occur.
- Working closely with the Board of Directors and Executive Director to grow MORE’s membership, reach, and advocacy.
- Reporting monthly to the Board on membership statistics and trends.
- Attending and participating in monthly MORE Board of Directors meetings providing monthly updates on activities completed.
Ride Program Director
The Ride Program Director is a two-year MORE Board of Directors volunteer position. The Ride Program Director is responsible for ensuring that MORE’s Ride Program is aligned with MORE’s strategic goals.
Duties include:
- Managing MORE’s Ride Leader program which provides MORE trail rides and clinics over a wide geographical area and to a diverse riding community.
- Serving as a point of contact for Ride Leaders and working with them to keep rides fun, safe, and serving a diverse ride community of various ages and abilities.
- Supporting current Ride Leaders in planning and advertising rides.
- Recruit and train new Ride Leaders.
- Helping with event planning and execution.
- Working with the MORE Activities Director to manage, solicit, and create Ride Leader Awards and incentives for developing MORE’s Ride Program.
- Attending and participating in monthly MORE Board of Directors meetings and providing monthly updates on activities completed.
Secretary
The Secretary is a two-year MORE Board of Directors volunteer position. The Secretary is primarily responsible for administrative functions related to the Board of Directors.
Duties include:
- Organizing and running monthly Board of Directors meetings.
- Preparing meeting agendas and activity reports through outreach to the rest of the Board.
- Taking and publishing meeting minutes, including all votes and motions, on the MORE website.
- Tracking and submitting annual regulatory filings related to MORE’s corporate governance.
The Secretary may also serve additional volunteer functions for MORE to support both the Board of Directors and wider organization, depending on the individual skillset of the Secretary.
Treasurer
The Treasurer is a three-year MORE Board of Directors volunteer position. The Treasurer is responsible for financial oversight and serves as the corporate secretary to ensure MORE’s compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Duties include:
- Preparing and managing the annual budget.
- Financial reporting and IRS Form 990 preparation and submission.
- Filing of statutory and regulatory requirements for the organization.
- Advising board members on MORE’s finances to assist them in the performance of their duties.
- Reporting monthly to the Board on financials.
- Attending and participating in monthly MORE Board of Directors meetings and providing monthly updates on activities completed.
