Race and Trail Closure August 8
The Cranky Monkey Race series will come to Schaeffer Sunday August 8 with 9-, 18-, and 27-mile race options. Go to www.ex2adventures.com for details and registration. Schaeffer trails will be closed all day August 8 to non-racers.
Trail Prep Work Day August 1
Come help get the trails in tip-top shape for the race. Sunday August 1 at 9 am at the trailhead parking lot. We will lop, mow, and cut a new finish line section. Contact Dave Magill dmagill@cpv.com or Bob Caverly bob@thecaverlys.net

The MORE summer picnic is just around the corner and we just found out we are going to have a special prize for a very lucky individual. We're not ready to say what it is or how it will be given away (Derby circle winner would be my choice) ... But it is from our good friends at Backcountry Excursions in Maine (Big hint...).
