The MORE website was built and is maintained by volunteers.

The new MORE site  was conceived by MORE's IT committee with support from MORE's Board of Directors and input from selected trail liaisons and club members.

MORE IT Committee:

  • Bob Caverly
  • Ernest Rodriguez
  • Tom Howe
  • Rob Lowe
  • Martin Fernandez

Initial site build and daily maintenance: Martin Fernandez, BestRidesDC.com

Trail detail photos (HERO Images): The trail "hero" images (the large image at the top of each trail detail page) are displayed with an accompanying photo credit below the image. If you would like to submit an image for display on the site please email it to operations@more-mtb.org along with proper byline information.

Trail Listing Images: Trail listing images have been provided by Martin Fernandez, BestRidesDC.com and Will Niccolls, Adventure-photo.com.

The majority of content in the trail detail pages has been submitted by MORE's team of trail liaisons and curated by Martin Fernandez. Additional content was borrowed, with permission, from Martin's Mountain Bike Cycling Guides of the Washington DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia Region. To purchase one of these guides please visit Martin's Amazon Author Page.

The Route Maps: MORE uses Ride With GPS to store route information. Please consider joining MORE's Ride With GPS club account to share your route data and favorite loops with other users.

All trails are maintained by MORE volunteers who rely on your donations. If you can't join us for a scheduled trail work day, please consider donating a few dollars to help MORE obtain tools and hire the expertise needed to keep the place you love to ride in top shape.

Please JOIN MORE and become a member of one of the most trusted off-road cycling advocacy groups in the United States.

MORE relies on volunteers to help with the day-to-day operations of the club, including website maintenance, content development, newsletter publishing, social media management and marketing and many other activities. If you are interested in serving in a capacity that best utilizes your expertise and think you can help MORE please contact us.
